DIRECTOR OF SALES (PATTAYA EXHIBITION AND CONVENTION HALL)

The Director of sales will lead the team in selling by implementing International and national sales plans, supervising managers for maximizing potential revenue in their assigned product segment, territory or target market.

You will develop rapport with key clients. You will have a presence at trade shows and International Associations for Exhibition and Convention , locally and Internationally, to promote new business and increase sales for the Convention Center.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in business studies, hospitality management
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Meeting Management or related field
  • Proven record of at least 5 years of successful sales experience, preferably in MICE/ Sales market (references required)
  • A team player able to develop new business in the atmosphere of creativity and a great degree of independence
  • Native or profound English verbal and writing knowledge along with perfect computer proficiency
  • Experience/ sales leads in the Meeting, Convention, & Exhibition industry are a key benefit
 

ITALIAN CHEF

Qualifications:

  • Preferably an English speaking Italian national with 2-3 years working experience in a 5 star International hotel in a similar position
  • Sound knowledge of Italian cuisines
  • Must have excellent management skills
  • Must have knowledge about fundamentals of food and labour cost control
  • Able to work under pressure and have good leadership skills
  • Must be a good team player

Quality Control Manager/Hospitality English Trainer

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in English, Business or Linguistics.
  • Excellent command of the English language ( Native Speaker with ability to speak Thai is a plus)
  • Ability to express effective, clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Minimum 2 years of experience or previous work as English teacher
  • Have good training skills and prior knowledge of working practices in a customer service setting

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists the Human Resources Department with recruitment and performance review procedures
  • Manages the English training program to develop the English communication skills of all hotel staff
  • Assesses the staff’s English skill level and develop teaching materials that are appropriate for them
  • Prepares and implements an annual English training plan for the hotel staff and a monthly plan for subordinate trainers
  • Ensures that scheduled training plans are implemented and followed by subordinate trainers
  • Plans, prepares and delivers productive lessons which focuses on specialized English specifically catered for staff in the hotel industry
  • Teaches customer service skills to frontline hotel staff
  • Provides ongoing mentoring and feedback to staff regarding English and service skills
  • Helps review communications between foreign guests and staff and follows up on guest feedback
  • Submits monthly training reports

Qualifications:

  • Thai or Filipino, Male, age 25 -40 years old

  • Able to select music suitable to various occasions

Responsibilities:

A Pianist provides a pleasant hotel environment by playing piano music for customers' enjoyment. Primary job responsibilities of a Pianist include the following:

  • Plays a selection of music on the piano. May play from memory, by ear, or may read music; making minimal errors.
  • Plays customer requests. Courteous to customers, greets them cordially, and provides them with a pleasant musical background.
  • Prepares new music to add to repertoire and plays various type of music played throughout the shift.
  • Dusts and polishes piano regularly and keeps playing area neat.
 

 

FOOD SCIENCE

Job Descriptions and Responsibilities

Responsible for checking the microbiological, physical and chemical properties of food and ingredients. Examine and set the quality to meet the international food safety standard to ensure that Royal Cliff guests receive the best food quality.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years’ experience in Food Science position in a large banquet facility property or in a 5 star International hotel would be an advantage
  • Strong knowledge in ISO 22000: 2005, GMP&HACCP / Food and Hygiene safety trained
  • Good command in English
  • Able to work under pressure with minimum supervision

Responsibility:

Responsible for the supervision of order and purchase, managing personnel within the kitchen department and overseeing all aspects of running the kitchen

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years experience in an Sous Chef position

  • Experienced in modern cooking methods
  • Good command of English

HOTEL RESERVATIONS OFFICER

Qualifications:

  • Handles and processes room reservations for guests in the hotels
  • Answers incoming calls/guest inquiries and assist with reservations, confirmations, room need requests, and questions
  • Explains resort facilities, services and other information about the resort as requested
  • Maintain knowledge of current resort events, activities, hours of operation as well as dining options currently available
  • Helps in maximizing room occupancy and average room rate through up selling

Responsibilities:

  • Achieves sales to government agencies/ organizations
  • Designs and recommends sales programs and sets short- and long-term sales strategies to achieve revenue goals
  • Evaluates and implements appropriate sales techniques to increase sales volume
  • Contracts and closes group business in addition to conducting site inspections
  • Actively up-sells business opportunities to maximize revenue
  • Drives customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience
  • Provides accurate, complete, and effective turnover to the Events team
  • Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked (example: generating proposal, writing contract, customer correspondence)

Qualifications:

  • Thai nationality, male or female, aged 25 -40 years old

  • Good organizational skills and enjoy multi-tasking
