Chef Mark is a native of Oldenzaal (the Netherlands) who started working at the young age of 14 in local restaurants. Upon graduation from the Culinary School in Groningen, he travelled at the age of 20 to Switzerland where he realized that being in the kitchen preparing amazing food for others is his life’s passion.
Chef Mark has honed both his culinary and leadership skills by working in several 4 and 5 star hotels in Switzerland such as: Park Hotel Bad Zurzach, Hotel Freieck in Chur, Hotel Schiff Lucern, Hotel Des Balances in Lucerne, Active Kronen Hotel in Andermatt and Arabella Sheraton Hotel Seehof in Davos (Switzerland) where he was trained by Masterchef Mr. Peter Luethi.
