The Royal Cliff Hotels Group: Clean Food, Good Taste and Food Safety

With eleven of Pattaya’s best restaurants, the Royal Cliff Hotels Group is known for its impeccable service, sumptuous cuisines and innovative menus. To add to this impressive catalogue of triumphs, the Royal Cliff Hotels Group was granted an honoury certificate to exhibit their ongoing 5-star enterprise to keep a clean and healthy workplace by “Clean Food Great Taste”.

The “Clean Food Great Taste” accreditation began in 1989, when the Ministry of Public Health together with Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and the Ministry of Interior joined hands to develop a project aimed at assuring the good sanitation of all restaurants in Thailand; a scheme that directly benefits the people of Thailand whilst also reassuring tourists that food in Thailand has passed the safety, presentation and taste requirements.

Inspections have taken place every two months conducted by a team of local officers and consumer groups. Regulations were according to criteria set by the Department of Health for restaurants whereby ten samples were taken from various locations of kitchen and dining areas and tested on the spot to reveal that the Royal Cliff standards of health and safety was second to none.

Mr. Joachim Grill, General Manager and Mr. Lek Pookphan, Sous Chef of the Royal Cliff Hotels Group were invited to Pattaya City Hall to receive this award and showcase their inspiring success throughout its international restaurants.
