deVine Wine Club fetes its members to an Italian feast !
The chosen venue was Rossini – The Godfather’s Favourite, an award-winning restaurant and one of the 11 restaurants under the flagship of the Royal Cliff Hotels Group. Not only was an Italian theme chosen to offer the members an opportunity to savour the exquisite tastes of Italy, it was also in celebration of introducing Rossini’s Head Chef, Emilio Bertoli.
Mr. Ranjith Chandrasiri, President of the deVine Wine Club and Deputy General Manager of the Royal Cliff Hotels Group welcomed all present and thanked members and guests for their loyal and encouraging support and also warmly welcomed new members to this prestigious club.
For this delightful evening, Chef Emilio had passionately orchestrated a delectable multi-course menu which was intriguingly complemented by a selection of fine Italian wines featured by the event’s co-sponsor, Canpac Beverages Ltd. The menu was a showcase of Italian culinary skill with the best of Italian flavours and finesse; blending harmoniously with the dinner wines, which were a tantalizing affair for the senses! Guest speaker for the evening was Mr. Michael Moore, a food and wine connoisseur and reviewer for various national and international media.
Since its inception in 2001, the prestigious ‘deVine’ Wine Club has exceeded its objective as a popular social amalgamation in Thailand for avid wine lovers from all over the world. In its 10 years, many events have taken place at the Royal Cliff Hotels Group; having invited some of the world’s distinguished wine personalities from around the globe.
