Mobile Cabinet Meeting Successfully Concluded at Royal Cliff!
The 5th Mobile Cabinet Meeting held at the Royal Cliff Hotels Group from June 18th-19th was an overwhelming success! The preparation and execution of this national event is an accomplishment not only for Royal Cliff Hotels Group but also the Chonburi Provincial Government who was a key contributor. The Rayong, Trad and Chantaburi Provincial Governments also played key roles.
The Chonburi government proposed a 100 million baht budget to the cabinet for 8 infrastructure development projects, which include the dredging of reservoirs, improvement of the Laem Chanbang port, constructions of reinforced concrete roads and sports centers, as well as a piping expansion.
The development of these projects which will actively support the province’s growing tourism sector with an emphasis on the province’s logistics issue. The projects are aimed at improving the quality of life of local people and easing economic and drug problems.
The Royal Cliff Hotels Group prepared the Grand Ballroom for the Mobile Cabinet Meeting on June 19th which included an elaborate centerpiece of a beautiful, natural garden with two hand-made Nagas approximately 2 metres in length spouting water into a peaceful pond. In the Buddhist tradition a Naga is a great, powerful water serpent, who protects people, so their presence was to ensure a peaceful atmosphere and protection of Thailand’s leaders. The Nagas were constructed completely from woven banana leaves by Royal Cliff’s florist teams and the garden was formed from entirely potted plants reflected the ‘green’ philosophy and culture of Royal Cliff Hotels Group.
Mrs. Panga Vathanakul, Managing Director of Royal Cliff Hotels Group, proudly proclaimed “It was certainly a privilege to be part of such an important occasion. We are elated to have had this opportunity to have looked after our nations’ leaders.”
Prime Minister Ms. Yingluck Shinawatra personally expressed her sincere gratitude to Royal Cliff Hotels Group Managing Director Mrs. Panga Vathanakul for the high quality services, cuisine and excellent set-up in the meeting rooms.
