SALES MANAGER – JAPAN

Qualifications

  • Native Japanese speaker
  • Proven record of at least 2-3 years of successful sales experience preferably in hotel/travel agency (references required)
  • A team player willing to handle this challenging job that offers creativity and a great degree of independence
  • Good command of English and computer proficiency
  • Experience/ Sales leads in Japanese travel industry are a benefit

Sous Chef – Banquet

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Executive Chef, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
  • Consistently offer professional, friendly and proactive guest service while supporting fellow Colleagues
  • Manage all Kitchens in the absence of the Executive Chef
  • Create all food menus with the guidance of the Executive Chef
  • Complete daily market lists to ensure quality food ordering while maintaining budgeted costs
  • Meet with Storekeepers to ensure quality & par levels are maintained
  • Interact closely with the Catering department to assist in function menu co-ordination and meet with clients as required
  • Conduct daily shift briefings with all Sous Chefs
  • Ensure all kitchen Colleagues are aware of standards and expectations
  • Liaise daily with Outlet Managers and Sous Chefs to keep open lines of communication regarding guest feedback
  • Balance operational, administrative and Colleague needs
  • Ensure proper staffing and scheduling in accordance to productivity guidelines
  • Follow kitchen policies, procedures and service standards
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Previous leadership experience in the culinary field required
  • Proven track record of cost control including food, equipments, labour and wastage to meet the goals and the hotel’s financial goals
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
  • Highly responsible & reliable
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times

MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS ENGLISH WRITER

Qualifications:

  • Male or Female not over 40 years old
  • Excellent command of English language
  • Expert in punctuation and grammar
  • A Good Bachelor's Degree or higher in English/English literature, Media Communication, Marketing or related field (GPA 3.0 and above)
  • At least 1-2 years experienced in marketing or journalism is an advantage
  • Able to work hard and flexible hours
  • Experience dealing with the press and have contacts with media agencies
  • Able to write news releases, handle media visits / photo shoots
  • Enjoy writing articles
  • A team player who enjoys working with others
  • Good communications, good interpersonal skills, good coordinator
  • Good leadership skills, organizational skills and research skills

SOUS CHEF AND CHEF DE PARTY

Job Descriptions and Responsibilities

Responsible for the supervision within the kitchen department and overseeing all aspects of running the kitchen and personnel.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years’ experience in an Sous Chef- or Chef de Party position in a 5 star International hotel would be an advantage
  • Good knowledge of Asian and Western cuisines
  • Must have knowledge about HACCP/ Food and Hygiene safety trained
  • Good command of English
  • Able to work under pressure with minimum supervision
  • Must be a good Team player with good leadership skills and is service-oriented
  • Must have knowledge about fundamentals of food and labour cost control
  • Must be a good team player and motivated and willing to lead colleagues
  • Basic computer knowledge is an advantage

WAITER / WAITRESS

Qualifications

  • Female, below 35 years of age
  • Experience in the food and beverage industry is an advantage
  • Willing to work in night shifts
  • Positive attitude, good personality and passion for customer service
  • Strong understanding of written and spoken English. Experience in large volume operations is an advantage
