Pattaya, Thailand – Royal Cliff’s deVine Wine Club recently had another remarkable Californian wine dinner at the Royal Grill Room & Wine Cellar – Excellence & Heritage where deVine Wine Club members and wine lovers enjoyed a delicious 5-course menu featuring impeccable cuisine prepared by Royal Cliff’s Executive Chef Peter Held and his talented culinary team, along with premium wines from Vanichwathana Co., Ltd – The Fine Wine & Spirits Company.
Guests were warmly welcomed by members of the Royal Cliff Executive team led by Mr. Prem Calais, the General Manager of the Royal Cliff Hotels Group at the pre-dinner cocktail reception where a delectable selection of deluxe canapés accompanied by Glenbrook California Sauvignon Blanc 2018 awaited guests at The Bar of the Royal Cliff Beach Hotel.
The superb five-course menu, which followed at the Royal Grill Room and Wine Cellar started with appetizing Tropical Curried Chicken Cocktail with Grayson Cellars Chardonnay, Napa Valley 2017. Guests then enjoyed the Salmon Raviolo which was wonderfully paired with Cline Family Cellars Mourvedre Rose “Ancient Vines”, Sonama Valley 2018 followed by a Lime Sorbet. The delectable Aromatic Veal Stew served along with Grayson Cellars Pinot Noir “Oak Aged”, Napa Valley 2018 and the tender Roasted Lamb Rack perfectly paired with Silverado Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley 2013 were the highlights of the evening. The night ended with a delicious Cointreau Chocolate Cake served which was accompanied by Cline Family Cellars Zinfanel “Old Vine”, Sonama Valley 2017.
It was another memorable night as guests enjoyed the delicious 5-course dinner with fantastic wine pairings that perfectly complement each course. Mr. Zoltan Zakor, the premier wine importer of Vanichwattana and the evening’s guest speaker shared his extensive knowledge and passion on Californian Wines.
