Royal Cliff’s DeVine Wine Club Celebrates A Night of Gastronomic Food with Wolf Blass Wines


Pattaya, Thailand – Royal Cliff Hotels Group recently delighted its deVine Wine Club members and guests with a memorable night of gastronomic food perfectly paired with Australian Wolf Blass Wines at the Royal Grill Room & Wine Cellar – Excellence & Heritage.

Guests were warmly welcomed at the elegant pre-dinner cocktail reception at the Lobby Bar of the Royal Cliff Beach Hotel by Mrs. Panga Vathanakul, the Managing Director of the Royal Cliff Hotels Group together with Mr. Prem Calais, the General Manager of the Royal Cliff Hotels Group and acting president of the DeVine Wine Club. A delectable selection of deluxe canapés accompanied by the Riesling Yellow Label Wolf Blass 2016 delighted guests as they leisurely mingled in anticipation of the evening’s affair.

A riveting five-course dinner complementing each exquisite wine followed at the Royal Grill Room and Wine Cellar - Excellence and Heritage. The dinner begun with an appetizing seared yellow fin tuna loin, confit fennel and Meyer lemon on arugula cream sauce served with Chardonnay Yellow Label Wolf Blass 2015. Guests then enjoyed the mouth-watering braised wild boar ragout in red wine on Kashmiri saffron and celery root mousseline paired with the rich Shiraz Yellow Label Wolf Blass 2015. The highlight of the evening was the unforgettable main course consisting of a delectable roasted 65 day dry-aged Charolais beef ribeye with sautéed baby broccolis, beef marrow and Morrel sauce paired with the distinctive taste of the Cabernet Sauvignon Yellow Label Wolf Blass 2014. Delicious Tasmanian blue and old croc cheddar cheese with homemade jams came after, balanced with the distinct flavors of the Pinot Noir Yellow Label Wolf Blass 2015. The evening capped off with the tempting sweetness of sweet Lemon tart with citron meringue and panna cotta pralines along with the sultry taste of the Pink Moscato Red Label Wolf Blass NV.

It was another memorable night as guests enjoyed each delicious culinary creation accompanied by fantastic wines complementing each course. Mr. Stuart Rusted, an accomplished winemaker from Wolf Blass, was the wine specialist and guest speaker for the evening. The night ended on a fun note as guests were made to take part in an enjoyable wine trivia quiz where the winner took home a special gift from Wolf Blass Wines.

Royal Cliff’s deVine Wine Club was launched on 28 April 2001 as the visible face of the resort's enthusiasm for promoting wines and hosting wine-related events. Today, it is now Asia’s leading wine club which hosts popular wine dinners.
