Royal Cliff’s Wine Club Dinner Once Again ‘Wows’ Its members with Antinori and Cotarella Wines
Pattaya, Thailand - Royal Cliff’s deVine Wine Club recently hosted a remarkable wine dinner “An Italian Affair with Antinori and Cotarella Wines” at the Royal Grill Room & Wine Cellar - Excellence & Heritage. DeVine Wine Club members and wine lovers enjoyed a mesmerizing 5-course menu prepared by Royal Cliff’s award-winning culinary team led by new Executive Chef Peter Held and experienced premium wines from Italasia Trading (Thailand) Co. The evening began with an elegant pre-dinner cocktail reception at The Bar of the Royal Cliff Beach Hotel where over 50 guests were warmly welcomed by the Royal Cliff executive team led by Mrs. Panga Vathanakul, the Managing Director of Royal Cliff Hotels Group. Wine lovers mingled over an exquisite selection of deluxe canapés accompanied by the Marchese Antinori Cuvee Royale Franciacorta D.O.C.G. NV.
The delightful five-course menu which followed at the Royal Grill Room and Wine Cellar first featured an appetizing Tuna Carpaccio with Mesclun Leaves, Apple Drops and Salmon Roe served with Falesco Vitiano Grechetto, Umbria I.G.T. 2017. Wine lovers then indulged in a succulent Duck Ravioli on light Tomato Stew and Parmesan Foam served with the light Falesco Vitiano Rosso, Umbria I.G.P. 2015. Before the main course, everyone experienced an exquisite combination of flavours from the Grilled Spicy Italian Sausage on Truffle Mash and the Red Cabbage Coulis wonderfully paired with the Falesco Tellus Shiraz, Lazio I.G.P. 2015. The Aromatic Braised Lamb Shoulder on Saffron Risotto paired with the Falesco Montiano Merlot Lazio, I.G.P. 2013 were the succulent highlights of the evening. The night ended with a Tiramisu Classic Italian Coffee Flavored Dessert with Ladyfingers served with Muffato Della Sala, Umbria I.G.T. 12.5% 2006.
