Precautionary Measures in Response to Coronavirus

Royal Cliff is closely monitoring the coronavirus situation at all times.

The health, safety and well-being of our guests and staff are our top priority. We are working closely with Thailand’s Ministry of Health regarding the necessary precautions to keep our hotels secure and protected from the recent outbreak. We have a nurse on stand-by and have increased the frequency of disinfection especially in high-traffic areas across the resort. Hand sanitizers, masks and thermometers are also available in our Reception Counters and Testing Center. As a precaution, please know that we might ask our guests for recent travel history or check for signs and symptoms upon check-in. We might also direct symptomatic travelers to further medical examination.

Should you feel unwell during your stay or develop respiratory symptoms such as cough, runny nose or fever, please inform any of our staff immediately for assistance.

Royal Cliff’s DeVine Wine Club Experiences A Night in Bordouex


Pattaya, Thailand – Royal Cliff’s deVine Wine Club recently had another remarkable wine dinner “A Night in Bordeaux” at the Royal Grill Room & Wine Cellar – Excellence & Heritage. DeVine Wine Club members and wine lovers enjoyed a delicious 5-course menu featuring excellent cuisine prepared by Royal Cliff’s Executive Chef and his talented culinary team, along with premium wines from Bordeaux, one of France’s leading estates.

Nearly 70 guests were warmly welcomed by members of the Royal Cliff Executive team led by Mrs. Panga Vathanakul, Managing Director of Royal Cliff Hotels Group at the pre-dinner cocktail reception where a delectable selection of deluxe canapés accompanied by Montaudon Réserve Première Champagne NV awaited guests at The Lobby Bar of Royal Cliff Beach Hotel.

The superb five-course menu, which followed at the Royal Grill Room and Wine Cellar started with an appetizing Seared Tuna Loin Nicoise with White Anchovies and Capers served with La Valiniere Blanc, Graves Bordeuz 2016. Guests then enjoyed the Confit Salmon with Mango, Radish and Chili Salsa wonderfully paired with a Domaine Michel Thomas, Sancerre, Loire Valley 2015 and mouthwatering Rasberry Sorbet. The delectable duck confit herb & salt marinated and slow cooked in duck fat on roasted vegetables served along with Chateau Tourteran, Haut-Medoc, Bordeaux 2010 along with the grilled Australian beef sirloin served on roasted garlic and mashed potatoes ratatouille and shallot jam paired with Château Lynch Moussas, 5eme Cru Classe, Pauille 2005 were the highlights of the evening. The night ended with a Tarte Tatin with Vanilla ice-cream and baked French apple turnover served with Château Lamonthe Guignard, Grand Cru Classe, Sauternes 2013.

It was another memorable night as guests enjoyed the delicious 5-course dinner with fantastic wine pairings to complement each course. Mr. Sunthorn Lapmul, the Marketing Director of Wine Dee Dee. Co, Ltd. and the evening’s guest speaker shared his extensive knowledge on the world of Bordeaux wines.

The deVine Wine Club was launched on 28 April 2001 as the visible face of the resort’s enthusiasm for promoting wines and hosting wine-related events.
