Royal Cliff’s deVine Wine Club recently had another remarkable wine dinner at the Royal Grill Room & Wine Cellar – Excellence & Heritage. DeVine Wine Club members and wine lovers enjoyed a delicious 5-course menu featuring excellent cuisine prepared by Royal Cliff’s Executive Chef and his talented culinary team, along with premium wines from Josetta Saffirio, one of Italy’s famous winery with 200 years of tradition in cultivating the vineyards at Piedmont.
Guests were warmly welcomed by members of the Royal Cliff Executive team led by Mrs. Panga Vathanakul, the Managing Director of the Royal Cliff Hotels Group at the pre-dinner cocktail reception where a delectable selection of deluxe canapés accompanied by Sensi, Pure Gold Prosecco 18K, Veneto Italy 2018 awaited guests at The Bar of the Royal Cliff Beach Hotel.
The superb five-course menu, which followed at the Royal Grill Room and Wine Cellar started with appetizing Orange and Lime Infused Fresh Seabass Roulade with Fresh Herbs, Mesclun Leaves and Caper Citrus Vinaigrette served with Casina Chicco, Roero Arneis D.O.C.G Anterisio Piedmont, Italy 2018. Guests then enjoyed the “Bollito Misto” Classic Italian Stew of Slow Cooked Pork, Beef, Chicken and Italian Sausage with Mostarda and Salsa Verde which was wonderfully paired with Terralba, Derthona Timorasso Piedmont Italy 2015 followed by a mouthwatering Limoncello Sorbet. The delectable Veal Scalopina with Soft Plenta, Pereronata and Marsala Sauce served along with Josetta Saffirio, Barolo D.O.C.G Monforte d’Alba, Piedmont, Italy 2014 paired with Casina Chicco, Langhe D.O.C Nebbiolo Piedmont, Italy 2017 was the highlight of the evening. The night ended with a delicious Tiramisu Coffee Flavoured Mascarpone Mousse with Italian Finger Biscuits and a selection of Italian Cheeses with Honey Roasted Walnuts and Homemade Fig Jam which was served with Sensi, 15K Moscata Rose Sparkling, Italy N.V.
It was another memorable night as guests enjoyed the delicious 5-course set menu with fantastic wine pairings to complement each course. Mr. Sunthorn Lapmul, the Director of Marketing of Wine Dee Dee. Co, Ltd and the evening’s guest speaker shared his extensive knowledge of the famous wines from Wine Dee Dee. Co, Ltd.
The deVine Wine Club was launched on April 28, 2001 as the visible face of the resort’s enthusiasm for promoting wines and hosting wine-related events.
