The wait is over! The Royal Cliff Beach Hotel and the Royal Wing Suites and Spa will be reopening on 1 July 2020. We are eagerly awaiting the day that we can welcome you back. 

Our team is looking forward to getting back to what we do best: providing warm, attentive and exceptional service. Before anything else, I would like to express my sincere appreciation to those who took part in our “Buy Now Stay Later” – Once in a Lifetime Campaign and who bought our hotel vouchers during this challenging time. To know that you were there for us and give us your overwhelming support in the last months has been truly inspiring to us all.

I am delighted that our team was also able to contribute to the fight against the spread of Covid-19 by creating face masks and face shields which we donated to hospitals and front liners across the country. Over the past few months, our staff have been hard at work taking part in rigorous training programs on maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all. We ensure that our safety procedures comply with the World Health Organization, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the MICE Venue Hygiene Guidelines of the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau. From the mentioned information, we have developed the Royal Cliff Prevent and Protect Program, which contains a wide range of new measures to ensure that our guests will have an extraordinary and safe stay in our different hotels. Facility upgrades were also done in all hotels.

As we move forward through this unprecedented time together, the health and safety of all our guests and employees remain our number 1 priority. We want to provide a haven where essential services can be enjoyed with the appropriate safety precautions in place. We have taken significant steps in reviewing our existing service offerings and adapted them to create a safer guest experience for you and your loved ones. While we would love to be able to keep things as normal as possible in our hotels, in order to protect you and ensure that you will be safe, we had to make some essential changes to the way we operate. Rest assured though, that despite the little adjustments, we have made sure that the quality of your hotel experience will not be compromised.

Our Prevent and Protect Program to Enhance Your Experience

Allow me to walk you through your new guest experience.

Digital Pre-arrival Check-in and Express Check-out – Before you arrive at our hotels, if you book direct with us or if you are part of a M.I.C.E group, you will have the option of checking in online. Of course, you will continue to have the option of checking in the usual way upon arrival, should you choose to do so. Express check-out will also be an option.

Face Masks, Temperature Check and Platform Check-in – Upon arriving at the hotel, our team will check your temperature and request you to use the sanitizer gel. Following government regulation, you will need to register and check-in on to the Thai-Chana platform, which was introduced by the Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) as a national platform to fight against Covid-19. We kindly ask for your cooperation in wearing a face mask upon arrival and when walking around the property. This is an essential part of protecting both our guests and our staff.

Safety, Hygiene and Social Distancing Measures - Our spacious public areas will be thoroughly cleaned continuously throughout each day, including lifts, lobbies and reception areas. You will see our cleaners walking around the resort more frequently. Social distancing measures will be introduced, and a queuing system will be in place with parties queuing at least 1m apart from those not travelling together. Please be advised to practice social distancing everywhere around the resort by following the signage and floor markers.

New Hotel Policies and Security Measures - Our staff will explain about our new hotel policies upon arrival. This will include our new policy for breakfast, sports club usage, spa and the use of our other facilities. Kindly note that we cannot do buffets at the moment. However, we will continue to provide you with a delicious set or á la carte breakfast at the usual quality level, or you can choose to have breakfast in your room. You will have a range of food and beverage options with our in-room dining service and restaurant dining options. Restaurant tables, lounge areas and other physical layouts will be arranged to ensure appropriate distancing and maximum capacities will be introduced.

The large and spacious areas around the property enable us to manage social distancing well. Our team members are also going through extensive new training as we all adapt to these changing times together. We are continually monitoring conditions and learning best practices from our health and government authorities. We have changed the cancellation policies for all new reservations to give you more flexibility and convenience. In this challenging time, we want you as our guest, to always have a relaxed and enjoyable stay with us.
