The Pattaya Marathon 2026 is officially back on the calendar, confirmed for the weekend of 26–27 September after the city’s original July dates were rescheduled. Now in its 33rd year and categorized as a World Athletics International Standard Road Race, the event starts and finishes at Terminal 21 Pattaya. There are five categories of competition: the Full Marathon (42.2KM), the Half Marathon (21.1KM), the 10KM run, the 4.5KM Wheelchair Race, and the 4.5KM Family Fun Run race. Pattaya Marathon 2026 Registration
Registration for Pattaya Marathon 2026 starts on Monday, 10 August. It will be accepting applications until September 12, 2026 (10:00 PM Thailand time) or when the maximum number of applicants is reached.

Pattaya Marathon 2026 Route
Starting at Terminal 21 Pattaya, the marathon route sends thousands of runners along Pattaya Beach Road, through major city streets, coastal stretches, and beachfronts. More than 300 security personnel will be present along the route. The motorcycle teams and rescue units are responsible for the safety of the competitors (including safety inspectors for the runners at the back of the pack). Professional medical and nursing teams will be on hand throughout the event, both along the race route and at the finish line. Drinking water and electrolyte drinks will be available at service points along the race route, approximately every 2KM, and also near the finish line. There will also be a ‘Cool Zone’ located after the finish line to lower body temperature and relieve pain.

Pattaya Marathon 2026 Schedule
Race times for the marathon, half marathon and 10KM distances are recorded by electronic timing chip. The 4.5KM categories are non-competitive and won’t be timed. The marathons will be timed according to the international standard timing system.

Competition results will be available on the website, and online competition certificates are provided via E-Certification.
- In the general category (men and women), cash prizes will be awarded to the winners of 1st-5th place.
- In the general category for Thai runners (men and women), cash prizes will be awarded to the 1st-3rd place winners.
- The age groups (male and female) will receive cash prizes for the 1st-3rd place winners.
- The wheelchair category (male and female) will receive cash prizes for the 1st-5th place winners.
It’s important to note that winners receiving prize money exceeding THB 500 will be subject to a 5% tax deduction in accordance with the law. Additionally, competitors in the Full Marathon, Half Marathon, and 10KM Marathon category who have already received prize money in the general category or the Thai general category are not eligible to receive prize money and trophies in the age group categories. The winners in each age group will automatically be moved up to replace them.
