Basketball Court in Pattaya
Did you know that the first basketball games were played with real peach baskets and a soccer ball? Every time a person scored, someone had to climb a ladder to retrieve the ball. It’s now known as one of the most played sports on Earth. It’s no surprise we had to have a basketball court at FITZ Club. The game is played by moving the ball through dribbling or passing. You score a point by shooting it through the opposing team’s hoop. The team with the most points at the end of gameplay wins.
Futsal Court in Pattaya
A nearly-century-old sport, Futsal is a high intensity, shrunk-down version of football. The ball is smaller and heavier so it stays low and doesn’t bounce away. The game relies on quick decisions, precise control of the ball, and undeniable teamwork. Substitutions can happen freely, without stopping play. With less space and fewer players, every touch counts. The winner is whoever has the most points at the end of a match.
Pickleball Court in Pattaya
Born from fathers trying to entertain their bored children, Pickleball has quickly become a beloved sport globally. It was created using sports equipment lying around one of the homes: stray table tennis paddles and a lone perforated plastic ball. Its name comes from the “pickle boat” of a rowing crew, composed of thrown-together leftover non-starters just like Pickleball was a game created with unused equipment. A standard pickleball game is played to 11 points, and the winning team must win by two points. With Pickleball’s popularity, the Royal Cliff hosted its first tournament for it this past June 27–28th, 2026. It welcomed participants of all skill levels to compete in the Singles Category for those aged 25 and above. It was an afternoon of great sportsmanship and camaraderie.

Tennis Court in Pattaya
Our tennis courts in Pattaya are the only courts in Thailand to be awarded the esteemed ITF Masters Stars Recognition Award. Made using Laykold Cushion Plus technology, the court surface mirrors the quality of courts used for major professional tournaments like the US Open. Top ATP players have both trained and played on our courts. Every year, FITZ Club holds multiple tournaments ranging from Junior to Senior events. It’s a highly anticipated sports event in Pattaya each year. In tennis, you need four points to take a game, and six games to take a set. The best of three or five sets win the entire match.
Squash Court in Pattaya
Squash is an innovation of an older game called Rackets that originated at Fleet Prison in London; it was played with a hard ball and a strung racket. In the 1830s, students at Harrow School in England discovered that a punctured Rackets ball squashed on impact and bounced in strange ways, creating a greater variety of shots and thus more excitement and effort from the players. Squash is normally played with two players. They share the same space and take turns hitting the ball against the front wall. As long as it reaches the front wall before bouncing twice on the floor, the rally continues. The side and back walls are all fair game. Each game is played to 11 points, and a player must win by two points.

Did you know that doctors often recommend table tennis as a sport for the elderly because it helps activate multiple areas of the brain and helps fight memory loss? The sport is easy to learn and even easier to play. At FITZ Club, we have table tennis facilities for those who enjoy the sport. You can play with two or four players. Each stands at either end and hits a light plastic ball back and forth over a low net. The ball must bounce once on your opponent’s side, and the first to eleven points wins the game.
