Pattaya, Thailand – The 18th Fitz Club Singles Tennis Tournament concluded successfully, leaving a lasting impression on both players and spectators. The three-day tournament was filled with excitement, competitive spirit and outstanding sportsmanship, creating a vibrant atmosphere throughout the event. This year’s competition was particularly thrilling, with several professional-level players joining the tournament and raising the standard of play. Many matches captured the attention of the crowd and drew enthusiastic cheers from spectators. One of the most memorable encounters was between Mr. Igor Khrushch and Mr. Nils Christian Broering. The intense match lasted nearly two hours, with both players fighting fiercely for every point. The battle was extremely close, reaching an impressive 7–7 tie before Mr. Nils ultimately secured the victory.
Another remarkable moment of determination came from Mr. Vitanart Vathanakul, CEO of Royal Cliff. Despite suffering a serious arm injury during his previous match, he demonstrated tremendous resilience and refused to give up, continuing to compete in the semi-final against Mr. Nonse Phaochinda. His fighting spirit earned admiration and warm applause from the spectators. Mr. Nonse then advanced to face the tournament’s rising new contender, Mr. Nils Christian Broering, who had earlier defeated the defending champion, Mr Stephane Ifi. In the final match, Mr. Nils delivered an outstanding performance and claimed the championship title with a score of 8–4.
